Treatment of Stage IV Soft Tissue Sarcoma

Treatment of stage IV soft tissue sarcoma may include the following:

  • Chemotherapy.
  • Surgery to remove cancer that has spread to the lungs.
  • Targeted therapy with a tyrosine kinase inhibitor (pazopanib or imatinib).
